Software Central Intune Manager – The future of multi-tenant management
Managing Intune tenants for dozens—or even hundreds—of customers shouldn’t feel like a juggling act. Yet, for many MSPs, that’s the reality today. Microsoft Intune is a tremendous MDM solution that continues to grow in popularity, but it does still have some areas where it could be improved for a more seamless admin experience.
Its main weakness lies in multi-tenant management. Many smaller organizations rely on using MSPs to support their environment, as they lack the resources or need for dedicated IT staff. For MSPs managing tens, hundreds, or even thousands of tenants—often with multiple tenants per customer due to mergers or acquisitions—the process can become a logistical nightmare.
Currently, managing multiple Intune tenants means switching between browser windows, manually re-creating configuration policies between tenants, or relying on makeshift Graph scripts—a process that relies heavily on a manual approach. Even with recent improvements like import/export functionality in the Intune Settings Catalog, these tasks remain a time-consuming manual process that doesn’t cover all configuration settings in Intune and only scratches the surface, leaving much to be desired.
This is not a good use of valuable time that could be better spent on proactive, high-impact tasks. For MSPs, where staff time is the primary resource, reducing repetitive tasks like these frees up time for more billable work.
With this in mind, we are developing a new tool designed specifically for MSPs to take the headache out of multi-tenant management. Imagine onboarding all tenants into a single platform where you can effortlessly manage everything—move policies between tenants, perform backups and restores from backups, monitor drift—all in bulk and in real-time.
You can onboard a new customer with a baseline set of policies and start managing it within minutes. When a new or updated policy is configured, deploying it across all customer tenants becomes a rapid seamless process. The staff time savings alone make the product worth it, but we are not done there. To further increase the value proposition, you will be able to auto-harvest unused licenses from inactive users and review software usage on costly licensed products.
With Robopack integration, this becomes a true one-stop shop for Intune management. We’ll fill the gaps in Intune—you won’t lose any of the core functionality, simply add powerful new features on top.
This is just a sneak preview into the functionality available!
