Welcome home, Holger – A journey back to SoftwareCentral
Some journeys lead us far away, only to bring us back home again. This is the story of Holger, who after five years of exploring new horizons, has found his way back to SoftwareCentral – the place where he spent over a decade of his professional life. We couldn’t be more delighted to welcome him home.
For Holger, returning to SoftwareCentral means reconnecting with a community he knows well. “Coming back feels like returning home,” he reflects, as he settles into a rhythm of daily conversations with both familiar colleagues and new team members. The years away haven’t diminished the strong connections he built during his first decade here.
His journey into consulting became more than a career move – it turned out to be an adventure that taught him valuable lessons about our industry. “Every new project brought different challenges,” he says. “While it wasn’t always easy adapting to constant change, it gave me a unique perspective on what our customers truly need.” This insight now proves invaluable as he steps into his role as Product Specialist at SoftwareCentral.
The collaborative spirit at SoftwareCentral hasn’t changed during Holger’s absence. “What I’ve always valued here is how natural it feels to share ideas,” he reflects. “It’s an environment where every voice counts, where you can approach anyone – from developers to leadership – and know you’ll be heard.” This open and approachable culture played a key role in bringing him back.
Beyond the office walls, Holger’s passion for creation takes a different form – in his home brewery, where he experiments with new recipes and shares his love for craft beer with friends and family. When he’s not perfecting his latest brew, you’ll find him surrounded by his wife, children, and grandchildren, cherishing these precious moments together.
As Holger settles back into SoftwareCentral, his mission is clear: to bridge his deep understanding of our solutions with the fresh perspectives he gained as a consultant. “I’ve seen both sides now,” he says with a knowing smile. “And I’m ready to help build features that will truly make a difference for our customers.”
Welcome home, Holger! Cheers to new beginnings (and maybe a few of those home-brewed beers).
